Robeson County Landfill – St. Pauls, NC
Robeson’s waste-to-energy project is using biogas to produce enough electricity to power more than 900 homes. The 450 acre landfill contains over 48 wells at a depth of 35 feet which yields approximately 600+ standard cubic feet per minute of biogas. When the site expanded to add a second engine they also decided to cut down on their maintenance costs by adding a GraniteFuel SRT at the same time.
